My Journey
Since graduating from the University of Brasília in 2007, my psychological practice has spanned from clinical settings to community work within Indigenous and Quilombola communities.
Early in my career, I realized I needed to understand human nature through lived experience, not just academic study. This conviction led to a three-and-a-half-year journey across Latin America. Traveling by land and water through eleven countries, I immersed myself in new languages, navigated extreme environments, and connected with entirely different realities.
My practice is also deeply anchored in mindfulness. For two years, I lived exclusively in meditation centers across Brazil and India, studying human nature through moment-to-moment inner observation.
Later, becoming a mother brought me face-to-face with my own complex trauma. This personal catalyst drove me to specialize in internationally recognized trauma approaches, transforming both my own healing and my clinical work.
Today, I offer online and in-person sessions in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, supporting clients globally.
Outside the work, I spend my time laughing with my husband and daughter, swimming outdoors, playing familiar songs on my guitar, cycling countryside roads, and climbing Arunachala mountain to meditate in its caves.
